WTF? I have a cold. Again. This time on the right side of my head. Last time it was the left. Sore throat, swollen tonsil, sore nose and ear as well as sneezing and general snottiness. It kept me awake a bit late last night and woke me up at 5.30am. Not great.
Still, by lucky co-incidence, the scaffolders showed up this morning at about 10am to take the scaffolding away. Which is great. There is light in the house again and it feels so much nicer now. We're getting quotes in for decorating the hall, stairs, landing and the new stairs and landing and loft room. If we decide today, one of the companies can start on Monday due to a cancellation. Which would be great as that'd mean the decorating was done before we go on holiday. Then we'd just need to get carpet sorted and we could choose carpet this weekend so it can be ordered etc. for fitting when we get back.
