Speedy me

2567883755_5d7e519801_m.jpgLast weekend I bought a (cheap) bike. Had a bit of a play on it last night; rode to Morden and back and then up to Wimbledon Village and back. Yes. Up Wimbledon Hill. Evil, long, slow hill. And it didn't kill me! I even didn't use any particularly low gears; stayed on the middle gear on the front and a lowish one on the back; hit a top speed of 45km/h, more than once and not just downhill; and an average of 17km/h (with a lot of stopping to fiddle with stuff). Wasn't too sweaty at the end either, but then it was only 30 minutes of cycling.

Fun! Wanna play some more now!

(6.5 miles)
