As I'm out for lunch tomorrow, I didn't want to commit to running after work so I did it today instead.  Mad, eh? *cough*  Anyway, I'll swim tomorrow morning and test the bike on Saturday to make sure it works.  The run today was horrible, for a change.  *sigh* I think I just don't like running.  Which is odd because I managed to get myself up to 10km last year so 5km at the moment shouldn't be this vile.

Having been following Laura(Angel31)'s blog for a bit, I decided to try mixing dried fruit in with cottage cheese for a snack today:-

...and it was lovely!

Dinner was quite complicated but relatively simple to make:-

...loads of ingredients but really tasty and textureful.

  1. I've noticed that combo on Laura's blog too... I'm curious but I just can't imagine what it would taste like! Hope yur swim is good today and don't worry about the running, maybe you're just pushing yourself harder this time around and that's why it feels more difficult.

  2. It tastes lovely doesn't it! I haven't tried it with the flaked almonds in there as well, I'll be adding them in there next time! x

  3. I thouk you're right about the running and I'm pushing harder at the momet. I've done so little running this year, where last year in preparation for the 10K I was running 3/4 times a week for a good few weeks beforehand. This time, I've only just re-started running a week ago after my coccyx injury. It's pretty amazing that I can run at my 10km pace over 5km after essentially 6 months off runnning.

And yes, the flaked almonds add a lovely crunch into the texutre and I reckon they'll be even nicer toasted to add a little nuttiness in. Now if only my Maca powder would turn up!
